If you pup gets hypoglycemia you can treat it by giving Karo syrup or Nutri-cal, but food should be given within 20 minutes. Hypoglycemia can be very serious and can even cause death, and the main problem with it is a dog will lose its appetite and won’t eat, so that’s why you give a little Karo syrup, you have to raise blood sugar enough to stimulate the appetite.
