I'm sorry to hear about your incident with the GE. It's a shame that sometimes one person has to ruin it for a recipient. This is one reason we haven't participated in the last couple of GE's. But I DID acknowledge receipt of our box and posted a short Smilebox and did not let on how disappointed we were in receiving "Dollar Store" items with the $1 price still on each one! We had two great buddies in the first two we participated in but the third time was a horrible experience. I know 99.9% of the participants put a lot of love, time and thought (as well as money) into their secret buddy's gifts. I was very glad to see the minimum was raised. I'm sure most of those that participate spend a LOT more than what the minimum is. I know I did. I know it's not about the dollar amount but all one has to do is watch videos and Smilebox's from previous exchanges to see how much thought is put into the gifts. Just my two cents...... |
