ZoE is a toy destroyer too! All stuffed toys are defluffed & squeaker removed, and then decapitated & delimbed within about 10-15 mins.
I reattached the head & limbs and sew up the holes and it becomes a 'skineez' type toy.
She also destroys any of her rubber squeaky toys. And chews the "legs" off her cuz balls. She's never chewed her kongs though....I don't think she realizes she could...she just assumes they are for stuffing treats inside for her to lick out

I too have made her some toys out of heavy canvas. I doubled stitch all the seams, turn right side out, stuff it and put a squeaker inside and then sew the edge on top....triple reinforced!!! They last much longer than anything I've every bought, but aren't real 'cute'.
