It works great for Teddy. He was fine outside while it was thundering and lightening but as soon as we came inside and he heard rain and hail on the roof he started whining and shaking. It will still work if you put it on after the storm starts but it takes a minute to calm down. He is sleeping at my side right now and its storming outside with plenty of lightening and thunder. Some LOUD thunder just cracked overhead and he just lifted his head up for a sec and then went back to sleep. Works like a charm for teddy!
