I have used 1800 pet meds for years. You will usually find their prices much lower than what the vet charges and it is from the same drug companies.
It is the same as sending away to a human online pharmacy. I would be suspicious of a vet that refused to give you a script to take some where else. Not nice.
Your vet should want to help you out with your medical costs.
