I really hate to throw this information out, but I feel it's necessary so you can also ask the Vet. to test for heart worms. I forgot about this in my first response, but back in 1972 living in FL. I had a little poodle given to me. She did sound just like your dog, and it was only when she played or ran. It was heartworms. The treatment was extremely hard on her and she died. Please, get your Vet. to check for heartworms and have x-ray taken of her chest. It could be nothing more than an allergy, but why take risks. |
