Ok a quick update... Sadie did pretty well with her sitting and staying and coming when called. But what I'm not sure how to approach is her aggression. She has never bitten or attacked me, but I've definitely been caught in the middle. She doesn't bite, just... Growls and nips a little. Not defending her at all. The most common situation is when I'm eati g something, she is on the couch neare or even just on the floor, and Brutus will come up and want some, never really getting anything (and if he does everyone does!) and her ears go back and she just attacks. Today her ears went back twice and I didn't say anything or move because that usually instigates her. I don't know what to do with this one. I'm
Not worried about her biting me or anything like that, Im not. I just want to figure out how to approach this one... Or if any training can actually help this. Is it a socializing issue? Because its hard to socialize her with this behavior! |
