Poodles don't shed like most dogs and need to be brushed out with a slicker brush to keep them from matting. Your picture just does not show that type of coat though. Hard to say if the coat will grow back like it was because many dogs drop their puppy coat and grow adult coats toward the end of the first year. During that stage it is especially important to keep combing out the dead fur to prevent matting as they shed so much faster during that transition time. |
thanks you for taking time to answer. he does have slightly wavy soft coat, on this picture it looks straight after a bath and I blow dryed it.
I do keep on brushing now, i wish I new it before .
