Well I have another update- My Mom called her neighbor over to help her do Bell’s drain this morning. Bella apparently had enough- My Mom’s neighbor was holding her down and my Mom went to lift her tail and Bella freaked out, jumped away, then jumped on the kitchen counter and knocked down fruit punch!! She was very mad! Bella wasn’t having any part of it this morning.
My Mom called the vet and they told her to bring her in. I told my Mom she should see if Bella can just stay there so they can flush her drain till they take it out Monday. The vet said of course, he thinks that would be a better idea so she isn’t stressed out. She can lay in the cage and rest, not move around too much! Less stress for her the better! Instead of taking it out Monday, they are going to take it out Sunday (it needed to be in 3 days so Sunday would be the 3rd day anyways) My Mom will pick her up Sunday and not have to worry about making sure she flushes the drain and no stress for everyone! Besides she needs to flush it with butadiene (sp?) and that stuff gets everywhere, especially if you have a cat that will not tolerate you messing with her right now.
“Sigh” Man what a ride this has been! I can’t wait for all this to be over! The good thing is Bella is doing good! I am sure her staying at the vet will help her. Keep her from moving around too much and we know they will keep her area clean!!
