Gracie is my only dog right now but I used to have a little Maltese and a Lab at the same time. They got along fine. The only time we had an issue was when we would come home from some where and they would both run to meet us at the door and be all excited. Sometimes the Maltese would get too close to the Lab's feet that were tap dancing all over the place. Sasha would get so mad at the Lab for getting in front of her that she would bite at the Lab's ankles and growl at him! The Lab would not even notice her. He was a good guy. He was younger than Sasha and had a higher energy level that would annoy her sometimes. We never had to separate them. |
