My pictures (click my user name... then choose view profile, the album should be on the right side, click to open. If it's not showing then choose statistics tab and look for photo albums) show that Maggie (yorkiepoo) looks totally different depending on when she was groomed. She looks tall and slender when cut fairly short (not shaved) and as her hair grows she looks fatter and shorter. She has many different looks depending what kind of "hair" day she is having. I like her freshly groomed with longer legs, she looks sort of graceful rather than pudgy and slow.
If you want to avoid having yours shaved again you need to keep him combed or brushed to keep the mats away. I only comb her about twice a week. She hates the brush. It is about an 8-inch long metal comb that the groomer at Petsmart suggested.
If your dog is a yorkipoo, or any combo of 2 long-haired, non shedding breeds it will grow. If there is a shedding or short haired parent--I don't know if it will. |
I added couple of pictures, in an Album, that shows his looks before and after haircut
thanks you again.
let me know id you have any suggestions after looking at the pics.
