Hey guys! I snapped a few pix a minute ago of the finished carrier I made for Katie Scarlett. I used a Simplicity pattern for this carrier. KS loves it! She hopped right in and was just as happy as can be when I carried her around the house in this. I can't wait to show her off in it in public! Tee hee! She's so cute in Zebra print!
The fabric for this was purchased at Joann. The green Zebra is a heavy weight outdoor fabric. The inside fabric is cotton. I also used a variety of trims. The bag does have a little clip so I can attach to her harness for safety. The bottom is solid and removeable. For the outside, I used letters for her initials. The letters are iron on. I bought a 8.5x11 inch sheet of pink/white polka dot iron on. I then cut out the letters using my Cricut die cutting machine and ironed them on. In all, I have about $45 into this bag in fabrics/trims/etc., so not too bad. I can't wait to make another! I tell ya, KS is going to have to have her own room soon if I don't quit sewing for her!
Here are the pix...TFL!
