I have seen this woman in the showring - so for sure she shows. No immediate warning signs on her website.

There is another show breeder I am familiar with some of her pups ; Squirrels Yorkshire Terriers they are also located in Quebec.

Like any other breeder find out all the health screenings she does prior to breeding, find out if her dogs have CHIC numbers and if not - why not? If you do the testing and submit to OFA the results you will get your CHIC number at no extra charge.

If this woman shows and tests her breeding stock, and socializes them well (as she seems to from her site), I'd prefer to pay $xx for a healthy well bred pup, then let price be my determining factor.

After all the initial price of the dog is nothing compared to what the ongoing cost over this dog's lifetime will be. Yorkie do tend to have higher maintenance costs, for such normal things as dental cleanings etc.
