I love using essential oils, but I won't use them directly on my animals even in a mixture or shampoo.

I use Frontline Plus, I have not had a problem with it, and we live in a heavy tick area and I have yet to pull a tick off of any of my dogs. I have also never had a single flea. I use it every 3 months except during the summer months when I use it monthly. The dogs cannot reach their shoulder blades to lick it off.
