They are in all 50 states so please never doubt they are near you. Coyotes are highly adaptable and have been found in Central Park in NYC as well as Lincoln Park downtown Chicago. They can live on a golf course, cemetery, even your local park. Just because you do not see them doesn't mean they are not around. A good indication is when the sirens in your area go off, so do the coyotes.
