yes, and the trick is not to panic.
i know that is the first reaction but it just makes everything more wild.
i have an 85 pound airedale and a 12 pound shih tzu
along with 6.5 pound oscar.
they all actually get along pretty well execpt when they all want to play
sometimes oscar will think it is ok to jump up at the airedale and grab his beard.
the airedale is pretty good with him but still one wrong step and is all over for oscar.
so i have taught them both the meaning of the words easy and gentle.
mostly it depends on the temperment of the dogs too.
supervision is a must but try to let them play together so you can teach everyone to play calm and you need to remain calm as well.
