Hello ladies! Sorry for the wait!! Been super busy and my Internet was acting funky. Lexie went into labor March 8th at 12:15 pm and gave birth to a beautiful, healthy boy. Bad news is she started to secreet green fluid and the placenta didn't detach so I rushed her to the emergency vet at 3:30 and they performed an emergency c section. The second puppy didn't make it. I'm still very heart broken about it. It was another boy. There are 2 puppies in the x ray. Sorry for it being blurry but I took a picture at the vet office. If you expand the pic you can clearly see 2 heads and spines. Mommy and pup are doing great! Lexie is a great mommy. I had her spayed during the c section because I don't want her to go through this again. We had all the tests and get checks tO clear her before breeding but the puppy was high up and distressed. Have loads of pictures to put up!!! He's adorable and growing so fast! Thank you all for the warm wishes and will post pics soon! |
