The spring is the coyotes' highest activity time. After a long winter they are now in their mating season. I just let my three pups out for their last potty of the night. I always stay out with them at night carrying my flashlight. Funny thing, Dude didn't want to go but Bogey and Pebbles ran out immediately to pee. Then I heard them......coyotes doing their calling!
It's like they talk to each other and I could tell they were just a few house down from us in the open field. It's not like I live in the sticks either. We live in a village of 70,000 people. Please be very careful. All I had to do was shake their treat jar and they all bolted indoor but you just never know.
