Its just a puppy thing, they are more interested in exploring the our doors rather than going potty. All of mine did the same thing. You need to keep repeating their name and "GO Potty" "GO Potty" over and over and over until they go potty. And when they do praise them and maybe even give a tiny treat like a Cheerio/cereal.
