It sounds like you problem is worse than normal crusties, and it could be a food allergy. My foster has morning crusty eyes, but nothing too bad, and I started growing out the hair around the eyes instead of cutting them weekly like her previous owner did. The crusties are so much better, some days there's no crusty at all, and it use to be we had to soak in warm water every morning before removing, now I can just wipe with my finger. My theory is even though they were cut once a week, there was always something poking the eye, and it's better to just let them grow out. If there is actual brown goop and it’s wet all the time, I’d look at the food, has he always been this way? You might want to get it checked by a vet, and make sure there's not an infection. Does it smell funny?
