Small pieces can pass. Just depends. Are they in the stomach though or are they in the intestines? If they are staying in the stomach, then I'd hope your vet brings up surgery very soon. Also though, if they go through and aren't broken down, it could be very painful for your pup to poop.
What are her symptoms? Is she puking? Holding down food?
