I'm finding it's too large. The couple of recipes I've used only fills it up about a quarter of the way. I was thinking of getting a 4 quart one. Maybe I'm expecting it to be too full???
I think they can be filled to 3/4, I would double or triple the recipes and have leftovers... no need to cook twice or three times.. I always add lots of veggies....

Yeah, a 6 or 7 quart would be best I think. Definitely better having too much room, than not enough.... We had to ration out of a 4 quart for 4-5 people... 2 adults and 3 children.
