You're right! I forgot about that, lol. Duh! I brown tomato paste too, and onions! Is that the same as searing, where you cook meats at a higher temp to begin with to sear the outside so the insides stay juicy?
We'll just add that step right back in there!

I still occassionally like a stewed chicken in the crockpot, wif gravy...ummmmm! No browning, chicken almost looks the same as it did prior to cooking, but literally falls off the bone...!!
