I've cooked just about everything from a frozen state before. No problems, meat stays juicier but still gets done. I always check it with a meat thermometer. Steaks and hamburgers on the grill come out great! Actually saw one grilled hamburger recipe where you put an icecube in the middle of the burgers as they are shaped into patties. Seasoning tends to bounce off frozen food so you may want to season it a little ways into the cooking process...

This recipe does sound yummy! Looks like the cream cheese is added during the last 1/2 hour of cooking....
