I totally agree with this post. When i was pregant with my son we had just gotten a germain Shepherd Nicko. He soon began watching over me and wouold get into the bed when ever my husband got out of it, and he always wanted to be near my tummy. After Michael "MY son" was born he became his gaurdian watching him all the time. Whenever Michael cried Nicko would be the first to his side. He is still, 4 years later my son gaurdian, forever watching over him, even to the point of trying to bite my father on one incident when my dad was playing with my son, he ran up behind Michael and gave him a tickle my son screamed as it caught him off gaurd. Nicko lunged at my dad and had my husband not been outside I know he would have bitten him.
Didnt mean to write so much but to gert to the point maybe your dog will gaurd your new baby as well!!
