Either way...D-ring or not is fine with me. I can't wait to get that dress in hand...we are itching to show it off |
I left the neck a little bigger, and I moved the D-ring back past the girth strap so all pressure will go there instead of around her neck. I think it's going to fit her nicely, as I plumped up a stuffed Yorkie I have to her exact measurements and it fit perfectly. (he's in some pics with the dress on!) I also included a surprize in the package, but if you don't like it, don't use it...lol. I prewashed the material before cutting and sewing, and I washed the dress when it was completed, to make sure it stayed together and didn't shrink up or anything... no problems, (did cold water and a hand wash machine cycle, with a normal high speed spin), dryed it on delicate (low heat) and ironed it with some evironmentally safe spray starch. Also, I went back and added an iron on stabilizer as that fabric is a bit thinish, so that made it a bit studier. And it's lined with a pink silk/cotton blend lining, so it should not mat her hair too much, if at all!
Hehe! Now I'm on pins and needles waiting to see how it looks on her...lol!
