The vet needs to tell you what grade the LP is. Sounds like your vet needs to go into more detail.
A vet can palpate the knee to get an idea of the grade and to see if there is a problem-
Peanut has a grade 4 and grade 2- He is on Cosequin daily and he will need surgery on the grade 4 this year- However his grade 4 he limps a lot, on the grade 2 he never limps-
