You don't want any judgments on yourself but you passed judgment on some posters in what you thought about them, stating they were harsh, saying some are inferring someone -?OP? - was "horrible person" etc. Those statements seemed a little harsh to me. I'm smiling because we all do that on this forum - we usually post from our hearts and hope and pray no one thinks we're horrible in expressing our honest thoughts or any advice we pass along - not just for the current-thread posters and readers but for those that might come later after Googling a subject! And a lot of times I know I'm tempted to delete what I post but usually go ahead for the very reasons you stated almost caused you to delete.

But really in the long run, the fair and good-spirited exchange of advice, experiences and ideas about our dogs is what a good dog forum is all about. People shouldn't be mean-spirited but shouldn't soft-soap their replies either if they feel they want to make a point on a subject. I know when I mess up with Tibbe in the opinion of any readers on a thread I'm posting on, I prefer to hear about it - else how can I possibly learn? I hope they don't call me names or parts of names when they reply as that's not necessary here on YT, but I'd much rather they be honest and forthright with me since what is really important is not my feelings but what I can learn about being a better Yorkie owner/companion. I can then decide to take or ignore the advice or story they've related. I know this much, I have learned more from the loyal members here who posted honestly with their best advice than from many of the books about dogs I've read, some of the vets I've consulted and a number of breeders I've asked for opinions on a subject!

I hope YT posters will continue as usual to offer us all each others' honest, forthright opinions, experiences and advice on Yorkies and it can be taken without undue judgment on the posters but for the good it might now or one day do any current or future reader's beloved pet.
