They are very very cute but I agree that 2lbs. gets scary. Can't imagine that there are THAT many people that should own one that small. I think most people that want a tiny don't even realize how tiny that is. I got much more comfortable when Shelby hit 3lbs. and she isn't ever around small children and I keep her in my lap around big strange feet.

I would advise anyone looking for a tiny dog to do their homework and consider their lifestyle and stage in life before getting one. These little guys can't be left alone as easily and must eat on a regular basis. The novelty of small and cute is fun but these are living beings that require special care. Will you still want to deal with it in 5, 10 years?

If you are up to the task they are well worth the work. Just be sure they are Healthy first and tiny second!
