When I was a kid, a med-sized dog, Princess, ate 3 loaves of bread dough that had just thawed but not risen. She was very 'drunk' and uncomfortable when it started rising in her belly. My parents took turns all night walking her around in the house, and outside, to keep her awake and moving around. She came thru it fine, but mom was extra careful when thawing the 3-packs of frozen bread dough. There was no such thing as an emergency vet back then, so maybe she was just super lucky. She would eat anything...ate half a can from a can of peas once, too...looked like it'd been shot up until half blew off. Great dog, tho.

I hope Petey is okay. All our best for his recovery.
LOL, right?? Honestly my Shine 1987, big black lab once stole the turkey that was thawing (the old fashion way) in a sink full of cold water, I woke up to him laying on the kitchen floor eating the last of the skeleton...dear lord was I scared, he winced and cried while doing "dooty" for a couple days but he survived! My 10lb. Yorkie poo in 1996 consumed an entire large pizza off the kitchen table...still can't figure out where she put it, but she did and god love her she still survived! Ya never know!

Still waiting to get a txt about Petey, hes very special to me, I call him "Mr. Dog" cuz he looks so distinguished!
