A good Mommy does what is best. I so agree that this is the right thing to do. Try not to worry too much. (Easier said than to do) Prayers for a good surgery and speedy healing.
I just did a talk at a youth meeting about pet care (children 13 to 17 years old) and was surprized at the questions. One serious young fellow ask if there was a birth control pill for his dog. He said she has a litter at least once a year ! I explained that dogs should be spayed or neutered. I was so happy to educate the kids. I could see them nod with understanding. I even saw one girl circle the low cost spay/ neuter phone number on the ASPCA brochure.
