I know how scary that was for you because Gracie had difficulty breathing when she got too excited. The excitement of going to the vet with her was a nightmare too. Gracie was such an animated little girl who loved to play, and it was impossible to keep her from running full speed ahead in life. I did all that I could to protect her, but often it came down to managing her breathing attacks when they happened. Usually putting her in a sink of water submerged up to her belly turned things around for her very fast since getting her temperature down helped her breathing to return to normal. All we can do is our very best for our little ones, provide them with all our love, care, and excellent veterinary care, and to learn from our experiences. I don't have any doubt in my mind that you are an excellent mom and all of your babies are so lucky to have someone who loves them so much.
