 Our puppy is coming home!
So I have about 3 hours until we leave to pick up Luma, and I just heard "twinkle twinkle little star" and I started crying..lol!
We originally got her name from a videogame. In Super Mario Galaxy, a luma is a tiny, shining star. In photography it is a term to describe the light in the photo. In slavic, lumina means sunshine. Luminosa in spanish is a brilliant light. I loooove the name we picked for a baby and I think we found the perfect song to describe her. My boyfriend and I's favorite painting is The Starry Night by Van Gogh, which we have hanging over our bed. And we have star lanterns in our room.
...anyways 3 HOURSSS WOOOO! I'm so nervous! And excited! And an emotional mess! lol! Just thought I'd share here with people that understand...we've been waiting for her to come home for so long and today's the day! |
