I have been using regular distilled water for quite some time both for my drinking water and for Gracie. She has great clear eyes and now I find the cats drinking out of her bowl instead of their own. I think animals are a lot smarter than we give them credit for. I started using it because we have hard water that would leave mineral marks in the dish that I would have to dissolve with vinegar. That can't be good for anyone's body to have to filter and I didn't want Gracie's kidney's to have to deal with it. I use a glass dish for the water and I wash it at least twice a day. |
