My sweet, quiet little Teddy recently started barking in the car. I tried all of the usual methods to correct and discourage this behavior. Nothing worked.
My father found the "Pet Corrector" at a dog boutique today. It is nothing more than compressed air in a can that makes a hissing sound when the button is pressed. It is like hairspray or spray deodorant, but a little louder.
Surprisingly, the stuff works! We went on a long car ride tonight. I gave Teddy a verbal command to quiet. Then I used the can that made the "shhhh" sound. No more barking.
If you try it, do not aim the can at your dog. It is possible for condensation to come out of the can, something not good for eyes or skin.
As one of the reviews on Amazon indicates, it is good for cleaning electronics too!
