I know, I had bought a huge package too, but I was too afraid to give them to Joey. There's an article on snopes about it and they do say that never to give them to puppies or dogs under 5 pounds, or dogs that gulp their food. Joey had quite a few of them before I learned the dangers, it's not like every dog will have a problem, it's just I couldn't feel safe anymore. Petsmart has a great return policy, where did you buy them? Here's the Snopes article.
