I know that was so scary. Thank God that you got an xray and Mickey is fine. My Heidi got to a chicken bone that the cat knocked off the counter. I was so scared. The vet took an xray and said everything was fine and sent us home but she didn't act right. The next night when I feed her she swallowed and it all came right back up and I knew something was wrong. We got her to the emergency vet and the bone was lodged in her esophagus too. He called in a surgeon and he did an endoscopy. He couldn't get it out so he had to push it down in the stomach, break it up and then remove it. I know you feel guilty just as I did but you have to remember that you didn't do anything intentionally. I'm so glad that you had a very happy outcome.
