We do everything we can POSSIBLY do to keep thiese little buggers safe....dont beat yourself up over this....I had a puppy strangle on a tiny piece of kibble one time.....and I was RIGHT THERE, supervising the litter eat....he just inhaled instead of swallowed.....You were right there and got him the attention he needed....good mommie! I always take the bully stick away when it gets down to about 3 inches...this is only one of just three things I let my babies chew on, under supervision.....I keep trimming the soft chewed part off as they work on it.....this is so scary.....makes you wonder how dogs ever survived "in the wild".....Sooooooooooo happy for you and your little Mickey!
