Please pray for Mickey.
He is in Emergency Surgery at the ER Vet.
Mickey got a piece of bully stick logged in his esophagus.
He was eating his bully stick about 10 pm when he let out a few yelps.
He then started panting and shivering. He wanted to be on my lap.
I knew something was wrong. We left for the ER vet within 15 min.
It is a 20 min drive.
The vet almost let us leave but we wanted to get the x-ray to be sure everything was alright because I knew he was not acting normally.
The x-ray showed a swollen part of his esophagus before his stomach.
They are operating on him now and he should be out by 3am IF things go ok.
The vet listed so many things that could go wrong my head is spinning.
I can't stop crying. I can't stop....... My heart is breaking
I feel like the most horrible mom.
I should not have given him the bully stick!
