My vet also recommends the Hill's Food. But then they get samples for free, and I'm sure other perks. Kalena was on Science Diet from the breeder, but since doing research (mostly here), I have figured out, it's just not that great. I was going to switch to Royal Canin Puppy, but now I am wanting to get her on the Chicken Soup Puppy. So, what she gets is Science Diet Puppy 1/2, and 1/4 Royal Canin Puppy, and 1/4 Chicken Soup, which is about 2/3 cup total food. I am weaning her off the Scieince Diet, but I still may feed the Royal Canin and Chicken Soup together. The only thing I don't like about the Royal Canin is the corn, but Kalena likes it. She is eating so much better with this mixture, than when I had her on just Science Diet. She is starting to fill out, and not as skinny. She is 18 weeks old, and 2.5 pounds.
