When I had my two spayed/neutered, they were groggy the entire day of the surgery and slept most of the time. Luckily, I was able to stay with them during their recovery period, so they did not need to wear cones and they did not lick their incisions. Just make sure to keep her still and make sure to get pain meds. She will be back to normal before you know it! |
