I don't leave the bellyband on Gage at night. I use it when he has "free" run of the house, when we go to our deer camp (no way to "contain" him), or when we go to my mother's house. We are still working on the potty training issue with him although he goes on his pee pad 98% of the time - not at 100% just yet! I have found that when he is wearing the bellyband, he will hike his leg once to "mark" but when he realizes it was not a successful mark, he won't lift his leg again - so it is helping to train him on the marking issue. Wish I could give you more info/help! I have read from others on here that leaving the bellyband on constantly could cause irritation and you need to think about a possible urinary infection from leaving it on all the time....just something to think about.
