She's never outwardly awful -- just says random things like this. She's very "dense" and doesn't understand that you can't just say what you want out loud all the time.
I was talking to my bf and he sees that she says these things, but she almost has the mind of a 14 year old girl at times -- and he just tells me to ignore it and that he is sorry.
ANYWHO -- back to the Yorkie talk -- I will definitely tell her he's just a miniature irish wolfhound the next time her "co-worker" says my dog was too cheap to be a REAL yorkie. Males are almost always less expensive -- and I paid almost $700 so that isn't TOO cheap, gosh! (not for someone working full time and going to college). |
Yep my Husband tells me to just ignore it too. Im just saying women like that that dont get put in their place just usually get worse with it over time. We barely do anything with my mother in law because of it. I think it would be better if she just knew how we felt. I dont want to rain on your parade this is just a common in law problem
