Maggie used to do this a little when other people walked her, when she was younger (in first year). She didn't lay down, she would just stand there like she had roots. I don't remember if she actually laid down. I think hubby started bringing her treats to coax her along. She just needed to get further from home and she was fine. Maybe she should try carrying her for a little ways and when she can't see the house see if she will walk then. Or also try some treats. Probably she is afraid she will miss seeing you if you come home (or doesn't want to leave you if you are home) |
