I think those things are more of a puppy thing and they are teething at that age. Did you get him before 12 weeks? His mom and littermates help teach him inhibition of the biting reflex, and this means that he'll still bite, but it won't be so hard. Seriously, if you want him to remain the same, neuter him, and let him remain a playful little boy, instead of a frustrated old man! An unneutered dog will mark more and the smell is much stronger. Joey never marks in the house, only outside.
