Definitely make sure they have comfy seats. We got a snoozer (Medium I think) and she loves it. It boosts her up so she can actually stretch and get her head out the window. Of course now we are driving around in the colder weather with the windows open......You might want to switch off having them in the booster and roaming around like another poster suggested. If you are stopping frequently they might be fine just chilling in their boosters. Snoozers are expensive. I got mine when Petco.com had a 25% everything sale. Make sure you're on their email list.
