Congrats on your new yorkie!! You might want to check out the forum for this morning. There are two threads running on this topic. From what I read many, many little tiny ones are wonderful healthy dogs. Of course there are concerns because of their tiny weights and tiny bones so if they do get sick it is important you get them to the Vets quickly because at that weight they don't have a lot of reserve, but for the rest they are just as their larger brothers and sisters. Most are healthy and live full lives. The problem is BREEDING a tiny. BIG NO-NO!! But owning and loving a tiny is just wonderful. Keep checking threads. You will see many people here have tiny yorkies and they are in wonderfully good health!
Oh by the way..mine are from 4.1 to a whopping 7.4 lbs...no little ones in my bunch...but I love the tiny faces on the little ones.
Just love her..keep her healthy and enjoy the daylights out of her!
