OMGosh!!!! Thats horrible! I haven't had an issue with paypal, and I have never used ebay.
I am dealing with a theif situation too. Hubby received tax forms for money (inheritance paid on death) that we never received. So of course we call the life insurance company. They sent a check beginning of 2011 and it was cashed!!!!!! It was cashed at a Regions bank and not by us!!! At the time it was cashed, we had an acct with Bank of America and didn't open Regions until the end of last year (October time frame)
So someone stole a very large check from us.....and cashed it at a bank we didn't bank at during that time!!! When we looked at my hubby's credit reports to see if it was identity theft that was going on......several accounts had been opened.
So now we are trying to find out how we can get this inheritance check back...and my hubby's credit back.
It's a complete mess. So I totally understand what you are going through! I hope everything gets resolved soon. It is so nice to talk to these places and have nice people on the other line....but when they are rude.....it makes things so much harder!
Sending prayers that you can get this sorted out and don't have to pay for it. I do know how stressful it is!
