I know with the Canadian Veterinary Association they produce charts of where Lepto is. And in S.W. Ontario there is a high incidence. And we do hike and swim in lakes with our pups, so they do get vaccinated.

For all my dogs now I split the vaccines, in otherwords have multiple vet visits. Of course it costs more as I get charged seperately for each vet visit for the "office" cost.
I would be sure to 'discuss an issue' with that vet then, not just pop in, get the vaccine, and leave. He's charging you for time spent...get your money's worth.

When I go in for vaccines, I split them also, but they know when I come back for another vaccine a month later, unless someone is having a problem, I am in and out, hence no office charge.
