Hello everyone,

I am posting this for my mother's dog, Maxim, who has a 6.5 pound Yorkie, almost two years old.

She said that she recently started noticing that sometimes when he is standing still and goes to take a step forward, he staggers, and then is fine. She said his eyes are always focused, so he is not taking a seizure.

Also, she notices that his legs tremble when he goes to sit down and sometimes when he stands up, but other than that he is fine, and will run, jump, and play with her other two dogs.

She is going to schedule an appointment with the vet, but does this sound like something she should be going to a specialist for?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
